That's exactly what I've been looking for to put in my 2,000 gallon tank. Would that be overcrowding?

A few months back there was a special on Discovery about some scientist that finally caught a giant squid... sort of. He found where their eggs hatch, and caught a baby; like an inch or so long. Unfortunately it died a few days later... but they DNA tested it and it turned out to be the correct species. It was definitly an Architeuthis, or Giant Squid. Now they have to figure out how to set up a tank that is compatible!

There was a documentary on 'Discovery' about a type of squid found in the waters off Mexico that is known for aggressively attacking divers and fishermen in packs, and they're small.. imagine if these big boys were to take their place?.. yeah, I know they're found in deep water, but what a premise for a big budget movie!!.. speaking of which, has anyone heard anything about a 'Jaws' type movie to be made about the gigantic prehistoric Shark, Megalodon?.. Google that big boy and take a look at those pix!!

Richard, they're not cheap, but there's a place down here that sells megalodon teeth. I guess they're not too uncommon. Anyway, I bought one (with a big chip in it) for my brother. It was as big as the palm of my hand!!!!!!!

I saw a show on Discovery not to long ago about a new squid that is bigger than the giant squid. They called it the colossus squid, it is supposed to be about 2-3 times as long as a giant squid, and is able to eat some of the whales that live in the Antarctic. The thing is massive. I'm not sure if it is real or not, but wow.

yeah it is true. Colossul squids really exist. they also have the biggest eyes in the animal kingdom, Discovery also showed a program on Sperm whales a few days ago where a male sperm whale fights a colossul squid and eats it eventually. have u guys seen it?

I saw that in the paper by me, I believe they caught it on accident and then took it in for study.
