3 Plant Ideas

Looking for ideas on the following to start me off slow:

These conditions

1 background plant
1 mid plant
1 foreground plant for carpet

Java fern and crypts can easily be used as mid. I don’t knoe the size of your tank, but if it’s on the smaller side, they do well for back as well. If you’re willing to get some root tabs, amazon swords are nice for background too (although, they do get quite large, so again, tank size is a factor!)

For foreground, dwarf saggittaria is easy and you could also make a mock-carpet (more like ground-cover rather than carpet) with anubias.

Although, how low of a light are you using? You can have problems with algae or lack of plant growth if the lighting is too low.

Hi kins

The light is just these little strip leds that came with it.

In about 10 days ill have a finnex planted+ for light.

Its a 48" tank. 60 gallons
