3 Days No Light

    So I'm exchanging my light for a different one will my tank survive 3 days in darkness it is planted I have a 24 inch nicrew I can put on there but it's to small 55 gallon tank maybe I can rotate it on different sides ?? Any advice on this

    You could support the other light somehow though 3 days I perfectly fine and won't harm the aquarium

    3 days without light is common to deal with diatoms... not a real concern. Congrats on the new light!

    Thats what I use for my small tanks except with a desk lamp.:D

    [If you are using that setup] You might want to get the light a little higher; lightbulbs can get hot you know.

    Yea I took it away it's a floor lamp no way to adjust it

    You kinda could by putting wood or things under it.
