3.5 To 10 Upgrade - How To Do It Proper?

So is there a way I can upgrade my 3.5 gallon baby ramshorn snail tank to a 10 gallon without much loss?
They CLEARLY need an upgrade and I have an empty 10 gallon with a 20 g aqua clear filter ready to set up. But before I start cycling it normally, I was told by someone on facebook that I can probably transfer everything from the 3.5 to the 10 and have an "instant" cycle, is there such a thing?
What can I do to succeed?
I can just set it up normally and wait the time for it to cycle but I see another 8 egg patches and the 3.5 is going to be VERY over run soon...

A few options. Move everything over. Move over just the filter media and water. Both would instantly cycle your bigger tank since you aren't increasing the bio load.

not sure about ramhorn snails but most snails are pretty hardy and can survive alot. so you might be able to just move everything in. I sorta forget though.

If you move the substrate and filter media you can have an almost instant cycle. I would still wait at least a week to be safe though

If you move the filter media over you will be fine. Substrate movement is not necessary and basically will have a negligible effect. There is some BB in the substrate but not anything of significance.

I agree substrate is not necessary but it does make it cycle a bit faster

I would move the filter/filter media over to the 10 gallon when you move all your snails, and you'll have an instant cycle. The tank might go through a minI cycle if you use new substrate and decor but your snails will be fine. However, you might need more gph on your filter for a 10 gallon than a 3.5g, so if you have another filter available, I might get that running as soon as possible to get the cycle moving.

I have a 20 g aquaclear filter for the 10 g. I just wanted to know if it would be safe for them. I also have two horned nerite snails in there too. Ill set up the tank and put the 20 filter on it, but the 3.5 filter is a weird shape, from a top fin plastic tank and I'm not sure how I could attach it to the tank.

This is the tank I want to upgrade. (I know, its pathetic, I'm learning...)
