3.5 gallon top fin bow front

Frisbee

So, I’ve got this 3.5 gallon. It’s up and running and cycled already. Right now I just have sand, vallisneria and a few ramshorns in there. It still has the original filter on it (I filled it up with custom media), plus a small sponge filter. It has a pre-set 25watt heater (stays about 78-80°f).

I’m not really sure what to do with this tank. The original filter is actually really functional, but it is an internal filter and it’s not very appealing to look at. I’m deciding wether or not to take it out.

I’ll probably stock it with shrimp, but I kind of want to figure out the scape first. I’m not really sure how I can scape a 3.5 gallon bow front. Should I just leave it with sand and valls, or should I try something more interesting?

Pardon the fact that it’s partially drained. It was originally a temporary hospital tank for a betta.

Any fun ideas are much appreciated. :)

May I divert your attention to my very own 2.5 scape? Still a bit proud albeit I tore it down when moving on to a 5G. Not as harsh a bow as yours but some.
