This is my idea for a 29 gal shrimp and snails setup!
Tank Size: 29 Gallons
Supplies For aquascape: Monapi wood, grapevine wood, and lava rock. Bottom litter composed of banana stems, Indian almond leaves, mulberry leaves, and dandelions.
Plants: Java moss, Christmas Moss, Java fern, anubias broad leaf, ludwiga, guppy grass, rotala, pearlweed, water sprite, water Wisteria, and jungle Val.
Stocking: Ramshorn snails, mystery snails, and snowball shrimp!
I love building my own aquariums with the required sealant and glass/acrylic! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I use just gravel in my 15g shrimp tank. Over200 in it. I’ve heard of using almond leaves but I don’t. More important is your ph,gh and kh. Next a well seasoned tank with algae and bio-film for the shrimp to eat. I’ve never heard of banana stems or dandelions. Heard of mulberry leaves. Next is grapevine good in water? I used it in my bearded dragon tank but never in a fish tank.

I buy my grapevine wood from a reputable seller who dries and disinfects for over a year

Ok but is grapevine good in water? I would think it would break down easily in water. It’s a vine not a branch.

Oh yeah I'm planning on having fastly decomposapal matter for my shrimp. If it becomes a problem I'll remove it
