2 small platies/mollies (not sure but 1.5Inches)
1 ballon molly
1 giant Danio (he's really old and his friend died)
1 Dwarf gouarmi
3 corydatas

Amazon swords are a really nice big background plant. I would add three more corydoras of the same species. You could fill out the school of giant danios unless you want something more flashy, school of tetras or rasboras would add some flare.

I would like a centerpiece fish, schooling fish seem so small. Do you know if I should add snails to eat algae? The Java ferns seem to be dying but the Anubias is flourishing. Is there a special need for them?

You could do a single angelfish as a centerpiece fish which is what I am doing for my 30 gal. I have a young Koi angel named Sparky. I also keep nerite snails in my tanks to eat any algea . I also have a BN pleco in each tank and the nerites like to graze on the veggies I put in for them such as cukes and zuchhini squash. Alison

I plan on getting more plants, I have been testing to see if my light can support it

As for stocking, can I get a red tailed shark and an angelfish? (I previously got a red tail but it died in quarantine due to jumping out a small hole :mad

how about a cichlid, is there a dwarf cichlid that is suitable with the current fish?
