Ok I need some help and I have no idea what to do. I have 2 bolivian rams a male and female, and 5 neons i did have a siamese algae eater to help with a hair algae problem but he didnt really help too much so moved him to another tank because he was being aggressive to my other fish. Now my male bolivian wont come out of his corner and he isnt eating much, I havent seen him eat or graze through the sand because he's always in his corner and I still have a bad hair alge problem...this tank is just a mess. What do I do?!

Take a toothbrush or a pipe cleaner and wrap as much as u can and manually remove it.. could also try shrimp they might eat it but could get eaten... also try to find the root of the algae issue... too much lights on time? Over feeding? Tap water parameters?

Could be a combo of problems with the algae problem it's a new established tank so I thought it would fix itself but hasnt yet...obviously lol. I think the "standard" led lights on the lid are a good source of the problem they are super bright, I'm trying to figure out how to fix that without buying a new hood/light. I like to see my tank so I dont like it dark, but I may have to have it dark for an undetermined amount of time? I dont think it's an over feeding problem as I feed once a day with one or 2 days a week as fasting. But my main concern is my boy, he's not eating and stays in his corner....what can I do? Should I take all decor out and "clean" it up and then rearrange and hope that helps with the aggressor aka siamese algae eater out of the tank?

Algae cant be simply removed (unless you scrub it off) - it has to be converted. Snails can be used to get rid of algae, but expect it to then turn into solid waste in your gravel that you can syphon. Snails do a pretty good job but you can also scrub down the glass with a sponge or pad. My lfs sells them cheap.
To stop it from coming definitely turn on the lights less time. I used to turn mine on 12 hours, now I turn them on only for 9. Some hobbyists even do 8 or 7.
The ram in the corner could be your temperature - sometimes if the water is too warm it'll stay away from the heater or if it's too cold it'll stay near the heater. Give him time. He will eat. Unless this is a disease we're talking about. Any other things you've noticed? Gasping, clamped fins, gill problems? If you got it recently it could just be getting used to the tank.

The male was the first one I got then about 2 or 4 weeks later I got him the female, they were fine until I got the SAE to "help" with my hair algae problem and he became aggressive towards all the fish and ate the food more than the algae that's when the male started hiding, same with neons, the female held her own and wouldnt take his lol. The rams also spar every so often lip locking but I havent seen anything else. Temp is the same it's always been, aside from a good glass scrubbing and water change nothing is drastically changed, she is white in color with her yellow belly until I come up and have my finger to the glass then she colors up a bit more and he is back at his stressed out dark color, I cant even get a pic of him because of him behind his wood log facing the back of the tank. I can barely see him. I try feeding his favorite, brine shrimp and he doesnt budge.
