29 Gallon and 30 Gallon Glass Bowing

Hello all,

I have a 29 gallon (2 1/2 foot) and 30 gallon (3 foot) Marineland glass tanks. I noticed today that they are bowed slightly. Both by 1/16”-1/8”.

Is this normal?

I am thinking I might have to go out and buy new tanks tomorrow but Is this just to be expected?

Advice is very much appreciated!

Yes, neither have centre braces.

The 29 gallon has been running for just a little over a year, and the 30 gallon has been running for about 4 months. I bought both tanks new.

Myself, i probably wouldn't even notice it unless the seals were messed up.
