They just arrived! I have to run a quick errand so they are sitting in the dark box until I get back. Both seem very lethargic, so hopefully they turn out to be healthy.

Has anyone ordered from saltwater fish.com?

Yes! great fish, but QT!!! VERY IMPORTANT! My fish were fine for 2 weeks, lots of personality, settled in, great color... and then boom came home one day and half the fish were dead, and the others were laying on the sand covered in brook, ich, and mabye velvet.

Yep, they’re in QT! I already learned my lesson. The hogfish is pretty skinny, which makes me nervous, but all I can do is cross my fingers I guess. Already had the DT wiped out once and our first batch of QT as well.

The Duncan is opening up!!! It looks like a little volcano right now

Here’s the mushroom! Any id ideas would be appreciated, since I don’t think it was specifically stated in my order

I'd feed him multiple times a day to fatten him up.

Duncan's are awesome. Just wait until he opens all the way up!

GORGEOUS wrasse and hogfish. Love them both.

The shroom looks like a ricordea florida!

Also, a hermit crab moved into a dead margarita snail’s shell. I thought it was kind of interesting

Super sweet! Have you fed the duncan yet? Your tank is looking great.

FyI on the wrasses, make sure you feed them 2-3 times a day if you can. Just little bits, but they have very fast digestive systems so should be fed at least twice a day.

The hogfish died last night. It wasn't eating very well, so there was probably something wrong with it. There were no signs of sickness on its body, other than being a little skinny. Luckily the wrasse is still doing well. I did a 40% water change and the water parameters look fine.

We also lost the cardinalfish.... because the coral banded shrimp killed him! I thought they were supposed to be peaceful! The cardinalfish was on the slower side, but still! If the shrimp continue to be aggressive, we might have to remove it. I'll try to pick some faster fish from now on.

The corals look amazing at least! We found a beautiful green/purple hammer coral at the LFS yesterday. I'll try to get some pictures later today

Sorry about losing them that would be hard.

Can't wait to see coral pictures though!
