remember a few weeks ago I said about the 25 gallon thing? after I order it today, the shopkeeper said I will need a fish tank stand. I told him if I can put it on a cupboard made of wood just a bit larger than the tank in terms of length and width. he asked me to stand on it and see what happens and if no shaking then it will be fine. but I told him my cupboard had wheels below for easy movement of the cupboard and I dunno how to remove it. I told him the cupboard is now supporting 150 pounds of fish tank and water. then he told me to stand on it. but I weigh 80 pounds and 80 plus 150 equals to 230. the 25 gallon will weigh 282 pounds average. so do you think the cupboard will be able to support it? if I remove the wheels, I can tell you the cupboard confirm can support it. but I don't know how to... and that's the prob. so now I am confirming with you guys with some things.
1.should I ask my parents to screw the wheels out?
2.should I remove the wheels myself?(idk how but I will try)
3.do you think the cupboard with wheels will be able to support 282 lbs of fishy things?
because the reason for it is because the weight will be suppressed on the 4 wheels and if the wheels are removed, the base will definitely be able to support it.but the problem is, the wheels look so hard to remove...
the cupboard is sturdy but with the wheels, it is not as sturdy anymore cos as I said, the weight will be pressed on the 4 wheels and not the base.
cupboard details:
it is sturdy
it is made of wood
the top of the cupboard is 4/5 inch thick
if you try to shake the cupboard it will shake but not the cupboard, its the wheels that's shaking.
there are 6 legs connected to the base at 4/5 inch by 2 inch thick.
the cupboard can support 150lbs now but when I sit and jump on it it support me with no problem just the wheels shaking thing(and the wheels are kinda the prob.
so overall, should I remove the wheels? plus my parents are too busy to help me so should I remove it myself? the wheels look hard to remove.

just remove the wheels and test it out, you don't want any accidents.

hey I found the screws! yay! now I know what to do... Remove the wheels! but the prob now is I am busy with my exams! hargh! frustrated! need to study. but also I think I will need 2 hours to finish everything hargh! I need to put the tank in another placce. then lean the cabinet in a direction. then remove the screws. then take out the wheels. then put the cabinet back. but the prob also is the wheels are rusty and I don't know how to take it out.
