20 Long Re-scape/ Restocking Ideas Needed

I currently have a 20 gallon long aquarium that I'm in the process of gathering things to turn it into a planted tank. I currently have 2 small goldfish that I am planning on giving to a friend for their pond, so I need some ideas on how to stock it and what plants to add as I've never kept live plants before. I have a 29 gallon with neon tetras, cherry barbs, powder blue dwarf gourami, and albino bristlenose plecos, so I'm hoping to have some different fish in my 20 gallon.

I have two 20 long tanks.
One has Corydoras habrosus, boraras brigittae and sparkling Gouramis, the other one Oryzias woworae. I had them in a species tank hoping they multiply but they eat the fry. I'll be adding zebra hovering loaches soon.
