Do you know of and understand the Aquarium Nitrogen Cycle?
Yes
Hi Folks,

Anyone have suggestions for a 20 gl Hex? it will be using a 40 GL filter.

Thinking something like:
Centerpeice - Blue Dwarf Gourami
Bottom Feeder/Cleaner- X Corydora
Top Dweller Harlequin Rasbora,

Or Tank Swimmer options - Plattys,Mollies, Neon Tetra.

How many of each type would be appropriate? Any other suggestions?

Thanks !

Solution
Yeah, thinking pygmies or dwarf cories would be your best bet if you want cories. Another bottom/lower dweller suggestion would be peacock gudgeons, could pretty easily do 4-6 in there.

I like the first option a lot. You could probably do
1x dwarf gourami
6x Corydora (smaller species)
8x harlequin Rasbora
I think that would be okay in a 20
As I am writing this though I thought of something. How big is the footprint for the bottom? If there is not much room then it might not be good for Corydoras or any substrate dwellers really

Thanks, those numbers are along the lines of what I was thinking. Regarding the footprint... 20 GL Hex.jpg

Haven't planned the decor yet. Any suggestions?
