HI everyone! Since my bandit cichlids did not work out, I am thinking of turning my 20 long into a riparium with various houseplants growing out of it. I have a few questions, though;
1 - Is there any way I could set this up so that fish prone to jump can't easily get out? I would REALLY like to keep wild bettas or paradise fish in this tank.
2 - How could I build a light fixture? I was thinking of using weatherproof 2 by 4's to create a simple frame and then attach the light to the bottom of it. Without a light fixture I would have to make do with my north windows as a light source.
3 - Any suggestions for good riparium houseplants? I just got a Draceana and a Philodendron that I want to try in this, but other ideas - especially red or flowering ones - would be lovely.
4 - Anything else I should know?
Thanks
