what's a good and safe way to remove the top rim on my 20 gallon long? It's kinda ugly. Idk. In my 112g the brown oceanic trim looks fine, and i just have cichlids in it. Kind of just fits. But the standard black trim on this looks blah.
if i do it, would it be beneficial to put a glass center brace? Or will it be okay without?

Using a razor blade just cut it off and take off the silicone around it. I don’t think you would need a brace since it’s a small tank. If you feel the need for one then definitely do it.
