Hey guys, so right now, I need help stocking. I have a decently sized, healthy Anubis and a huge plastic plant. I have an Aqueon clear 30, and my current stock is a bunch of granny guppies (4), 5 neon tetras, and 3 ghost shrimp. Does anyone have any ideas on how to go from there?

Danios? Sorry not trying to be rude. I think you meant neons?
You could add a pair of german blue/gold rams
That’s what I meant! I’ll edit that. GBRs need warmer water than neons.

I would do
3 Honey Gouramis
10 Neon Tetras
4 Guppies
1-2 Bolivian Rams (possibly; might eat shrimp)

Ty! I might stick with your idea. I’ve been a big fan of honey gouramis for a long time, but all I could find at my local shops were thick lip gouramis! How do you think they would compare?

You could always ask them to order the honey gouramis for you... In my opinion I love a mix of types of fish. Maybe add a school of corys.

Thicklip Gouramis get bigger. Their minimum is a 20L.

All the pet stores near me are petcos and petsmarts . They don’t take orders.

Thanks for everyone’s advice on thicklips. Do you think they’ll be too aggressive?

Petco has the capability of ordering fish that aren't always in their usual stock. I've seen honey gouramis at mine so I'm sure they're at least on their list.

Really? That’s amazing. I’ll definitely talk to my petco about that?

You could add cories and 2 rams of any kind (I personally love bolivian rams!) Good Luck!

Yeah for sure! My specific store you call Thursday, they order them Friday, and by Tuesday the following week the fish are there in store.
