20 Gallon Long Stocking

    Hello!

I am moving my breeding pair of a Ruby Red Peacock Cichlid and a Female OB to my main cichlid tank (55 gal).

That leaves the 20 gallon long they were breeding in open now. Does anyone have any stocking ideas for the 20 long? I'm looking to have some good numbers of fish in there, with some color, and some variety in their swimming levels. Also, if any way possible, I would prefer to keep the cost under $50.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

I'm about ready to stock my 20 long also. I got it a month ago and i'm thinking in a week it should be ready. I'm making it a Shrimp tank. My 30 gallon tall is for fish. I'm not concerned with mix breeding so i'm getting many different colors. If they mix and the offspring are ugly and sterile as i've read they could be, oh well, a good lunch for the Dojo Loach and Red Tail Shark.

    Welcome to fishlore!
What type of fish do you want?
    I'd do this:
    8 cardinal tetras
    8 rummynose tetras
    8 sterbai cories
    2 honey gouramis
    2 german blue rams
