20 gallon frog tank

I have an old 20 gallon tank that I set up as a grow out tank for my German blue ram fry. I've decided that it's best to let the parents raise the fry so I have a perfectly good empty tank. I want to get 2-3 African dwarf frogs for sure. But I'm wondering if I can add a small school of tetras or guppies, or maybe a betta? What do you guys think?

    Hi TreBall13 welcome to FishLore!!

African dwarf are wonderful little creatures.
It's temping to want to add something with them especially with a tallish tank like a 20g.

Imo, ADF's do best by themselves.
They can be hard to feed when there are quicker fish in the tank,

It won't be a matter of throwing food in and walking away. You will probably have to target feed them.
Quite possibly using tweezers and hand feed them.

That along with a 20g being on the tall side for them, the filter current a bit strong and if a fish will fit in their mouth they might mistake it for food.

I prefer to keep mine in a species only tank for the reasons above.
They are really delightful and it's fun to watch their antics.

    Good luck!
