I purchased a 20 gallon tank a few days ago. I washed the gravel and the decorations. I put a dechlorinator in it. I raised the temperature to 83 Fahrenheit. I know i need to put in beneficial bacteria but do i need to put in ammonia? I filled it up 2 days ago and it only has dechorinator in it and i have been running the filter 24 hrs a day. It is the slightest bit cloudy right now, why? What should the levels of the tank be before i put fish in(ph, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates etc.)? When do i need to change the water, and what percentage of water change? Thanks and sorry for so many questions.

Tank should have 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites when it is done cycling. You should read up on the nitrogen cycle before putting any fish in. From there you can decide to do a fish-in cycle or fishless cycle.
