2.50g Snail Tank Build

Started a 2.50g temporary tank that will now become a ramshorn snail home. Thought I'd start a log for the progress. (The betta in the photo will not be staying).

Never saw anybody make a tank just for snails. If you like them that much, then go for it.

Moved the snail tank to it's new home. So full of snails!

And added this nano filter. These guys pop a lot!

Only if for some reason it couldn't get up to the top of the tank to use it's snorkel. I guess the correct term is siphon but I like snorkel better.

Once a Mystery reaches an inch or more in diameter, it can die at any time and pretty much without warning. They only live about a year.

So I'm getting rid of a few snails and thinking of adding substrate and plants. My puffer is not eating these snails like I thought she would.
