2 50 Watt Hater Vs One 150 Watt?

logqnty

I am about to set up a new 29 gallon aquarium, and I am considering the options on heating. My 20 gallon aquarium is powered by a 100 watt aqueous heater, And it does a great job.
I am wondering if having 2 50 watt heaters, placed at the opposite ends of the tank, would do a better job than a 150 watt?
Thanks!

Actually no because heaters work independently. Heaters are not additive. With 2 50 watt heaters you can only heat to 50 watts. However the heat will be more stable. This forum has already had this discussion.
