What do yall think about my stocking of 19 tb and 2 bn plecos in a 40 breeder? Is that stocked or over stocked ? Have 2 20-40 aqua tech filters and going to upgrade soon.

If they're really 160 each, you should be fine!

I think you can add a few more fish. Just made sure they're compatible with the barbs.

I have a 40 gallon and 19 adult Tiger Barbs sounds like far too many to me.

    I haven't kept them though.

I think you'd be fully stocked.

I think you can add 1-3 more tiger barbs, that would be about it.

How about 1 other single fish that swims the top? I notice that the tiger babs always swim in the middle- lower areas and would like one to swim the top area. I had barely got 8 green tiger barbs to go in with the 11 normal tiger barbs and the green ones are very little

As the barbs get larger (their adult size is actually larger than what many people think), I think they'll fill the entire tank. So I wouldn't add anything else that would swim in the same level as them.

Ok thanks for letting me know
