I don't have any advice about algae (I'm a newbie to this hobby) but wanted to say that's a beautiful tank. It's 1880x600x550?

Yes it is 1880mm Long 600mm high and 550mm wide.

I converted the mm to inches 74x23x21 so it's approximately 155g tank.

It took me about 2 and half hours to plant.
