16g ideas

I have the 60l biorb empty (put the Angela in the main tank, cycle just about there and couldn't wait any longer!!!!). This equates to a 16g US.

Ideas please as to what to do with it. Themes and stocking suggestions please, I was originally thinking guppy for life and colour or similar. I would loves pair of Jack Dempsies but know its too small.

The tank is fully cycled so ready for most species. I want something very interesting and active if possible.

A Shrimp tank with a school of tetras would be nice! My 5.5g currently has a couple dozen RCS in it and I just added 6 Neons. It looks great. I'm getting more Neons soon lol.

Cherry barbs in a heavily planted tank look super. I like the neon tetra idea, too. Pristellas don't have lots of colour, but they do have that amazing glow against lots of green with good lighting.

Heavily planted, stocked with Celestial Pearl Danios or Neons plus RCS would look stunning.

Have put my 5 cherry barbs in already (along with 4 errant platties) still debating the rest.

Sorry to say this but platies need at least a 20g+ tank. They get big and have large bioloads.

I wouldn't put more than a single platy in a 16g...with barely anything else. The cherries should be ok in it.

Ember tetras would look nice...or some micro rasboras and shrimp. but if only the cherries were out
