Hi Everyone, I just joined Fishlore and i'm a new fish owner.

Tank: Fluval Vista 16gallon
Fish: 1 Betta 3 Albino Cory
Heater: Freesea 50W
Plants: 4 hygrophila, 1 java fern, 1 java moss, 2 fake plants i had from old tank
Stones: slate
Substrate: sand

I'd like to get my little albinos more friends, they are very small, probably half the size of full grown. i was thinking 4 more corydora aeneus, would that stocking be ok? My future plan is to upgrade the tank in about a year to a 30 or 40 gallon

IMO 16 gallons is too small for corys.
Some sites state 10 gallons as minimum, some say 20 and others say 30 gallons.
If I were you I'd re-home them as they should really be in groups of at least six. Once you upgrade to a 30 or 40 gallon you could definitely get a school of them, though.

I think you'd be ok for a while, maybe just add the 1 then more when you upgrade. I've had 2 Peppered Corydoras for over a year and recently added them to a larger school seemingly without any issues.
