here are a couple new pics of the edge. things are growing well....though I just cleared out a jungle of najas, that was blocking the light....so they should be growing much better now.

I love Najas!! best plant ever ;D

 

haha yes, najas is a love hate thing. it is a great, fast growing, easy to remove plant. but it does take over quickly! and then it shoots out little white roots, that go all the way into the substrate, so then you've got to pull those out. but such an easy plant, a versatile too

 

It's also great at sucking up nitrate!!
