Could you not just keep the current tank running?
Or stock the new tank around the current stock?

I probably could, what stocking list would you recommend with my current fish?

I wouldn't do dojos with cories. The dojos will get the food first. Apart from that it looks good.

Would that stocking list be maxed out? Or could I possibly add more platies?

Again I would start off with that stock and add more platies if you decide it looks like you have space once your fish have grown.

Ok. Thanks for all the help everyone! I think I finally have a mostly complete stocking list!

Ok, this is my last question: could I incorporate Congo Tetras into the mix? Would I need to remove the Danios if I wanted them?

Oh, I just learned that the neon tetras require lower temps! Sorry I like the new stocking plan. Just fyi, the congo tetra is not a South American tetra, but from Congo Africa. It's no big deal or anything, they come from the softwater river basin. They are one of the largest tetras commonly kept in aquaria. I had them in my 90g, one of my favorites in a large tank! A school of 20 would look stellar. I agree, I would love to see any progress pics!
