Nassarius isn't out tonight again. Guess it's overflow box search time.

Update time. Have my corals in place again. My second set of cloves are not too happy with their spot some don't want to open. It's weird the other cloves are 1 inch away. My yumma is slowly moving onto the rock work. Loving my ricordia garden. I found some more that I'll get. And I'm eyeballing an elegance here's some pics. Also have snail eggs happy about that if they live. Also first strand omg hair algea yay!!

Also two nights ago I walk in and look at the tank as I always do after lights out. And the drains were gurgling. So I thought darn snail is stuck again. So I close drain and open and flush out the clog. Wake up next morning mail clownfish is missing. Well unfortunately he took a trip down to the sump got stuck in filter sick under the silencer and passed. Sad day. The female wasn't a fan of him anyways just sucks. Now I need a smaller clown for the female.

Sorry to hear about your clown. Unfortunately, it happens. In fact, it happened to me too. Two weeks ago, I noticed a fish was missing in my tank and it was a yellow watchman goby. It was literally like an inch big, so it went through my overflow to the filter sock. I didn’t know at that time, so I took the filter sock out for cleaning and saw the goby going down in the drain! Not sure if it was still alive or dead though.

Thanks. I only have 1 clown in my tank as of right now because the female was so aggressive to the male and ripped his fins off. I decided to take her to my LFS and planned to keep only one.

Update:

So alot has changed in my life and tank. So I have officially moved my tank. It was only a 15 min drive so nothing too bad. I left all my current fish and hammer coral at the old house in a 29g. I wasn't around the tank much for 2 weeks. It was rough looking. All is stabilizing. Had to rework the scape also. Here's a few pics.

Update: all the fish are doing great. Lawnmower blenny is getting very fat! I added a rose bubble tips anemone. It hasn't moved yet so hopefully it likes it's spot. It's being blasted with these reefbreeders top and center. Here's a few coral pics and full tank shot. Algae subduing so that's a plus!

Long over due update..
So went through a cyanobacteria out break lasted about a month. Now the nitrates are climbing back up some. My sea lettuce went sexual and is over growing some rocks. I added an enchanted forest birdsnest and a suntan montipora. Birdsnest is doing good polyps are out. The Monti not so much. Polyps are not coming out. I have moved the frag a few times trying to find a place it is happy. Also added a diamond goby and a scopas tang. Tang is slowly picking at the sea lettuce. My Duncan has grown about 6 heads. Few pics.

I would stock the tank a bit more, I have read that too little nutrients from fish can be bad for corals

Yes I was thinking about that so I added two fish. I think it's issue with stability. Going from little nitrates to 5-10. Will be checking everything again in a couple of days.

Quick update:
So we will start with fish. The diamond gobie and scopas tang are right at home. They are part of the crew now. This being said I was in Petco with my gf and saw a foxface and was like oh I love him. We didn't get it. I thought I would wait for the last two fish to settle in. Today my gf cones in like I got your Christmas present. Yup you guessed it's the foxface. This being said the tank is not welcoming the new addition. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

In my last post I mentioned my cyanobacteria outbreaks. It keeps coming and going. I was getting alot of hair algea build up on the rocks. So I decided to get 70$ in hermits and snails. The rocks are clearing up but the cyano is still here and there. Also got an emerald crab but haven't seen him in a week.

Corals are all doing well. Well besides my sps. The montipora polyps are still not coming out much. I see a few but definitely not all. My birdsnest lost a section of it's polyps. The rest of it is still out so just keeping an eye on them. My fist Duncan is about the size of a baseball. It's definitely growing quickly.

New additions. Like stated above my gf got me a foxface. Day 1 still unknown of the acceptance of the tang and clown bosses. I also got one of my dream corals. An yellow tipped elegance coral. I'm in love already. Also day one but it's out and waving in the waves. I also added another Duncan to the order. It's still a baby but it's going to end up next to the original one. Also got a freebie I'm thinking it's a montipora or another encrusting coral. Will get an I'd for the future. And for what everyone wants to see the pics.
Ps I have cut alot of white out of the lights so it's going to be blue!!
Ok photos are not loading will post when it's working again.
Photos are not loading will post later
