Hey all. So my 10g is sitting empty and I came up with an idea for my tank. I want a nice koi betta and maybe nerites or amanos. I want to go planted. Im a complete plant beginner so please let me know if there are any comments or concerns with this build :D

I haven't kept that type of stone in my aquariums, but I think it might be too sharp for a betta's fins. It looks like a very pretty layout, though.

I have seen seiryu used with bettas before, as long as you aren't using the really pointed, jagged pieces you should be fine. Most koi bettas are plakat anyway so long fins shouldn't be an issue. Scape It, I recommend this.

Hmm after doing a bit of research I saw seriyu stone does affect ph. Should I look for maybe some inert rocks?

Yes that is true, maybe some large river rocks?

I like that idea. Maybe some lava rock?

Seiryu should not be a significant issue with hardness or fins
