Hello fish lore! I have a 55 gallon saltwater currently cycling aquarium. I have a canister filter and the water-picker-uper thing is on the far right of the back wall. I recently bought 1050 gph Koralia circulation pump and I was wondering where I should place it in the tank. note- I only have live rock and sand, no fish or corals. PLEASE HELP!

    Hi, welcome to Fishlore :;hi2

I'd position the pump in such a way that it results in good turbulent flow in the tank, without leaving dead spots. In a one pump setup, typically you would achieve this by pointing the pump toward one of the walls of the tank, so that the water bounces off the walls.

FWIW - if you intend on this being a reef setup, I would consider removing the canister filter from the setup and replace with a HOB protein skimmer ;)
