$100 Allowence - HAPPY!

I couldnt be any happier rite now!!!! I am going to start getting $$100 a month for allowence and I'm going to save $50 and spend $50 so now in about 2 weeks - I get $25 a week - so in about 2 weeks I can get a 10 gallon tank with divider for my 2 bettas!!! OMG I'm so happy! Miley

Is there a paper route you could do? I know I did that from when I was about 10 till I was about 15 and made good money then but then they gave me less then $5/week and I just gave up on it and quit.

Congratulations Miley. 100 dollars a month is great! I give myself about that for my 'wants' each month. I only get a paycheck while I am working during the school year, as I am off for the summers. If I want to have a summer allowance, I have to save money from when I am working. Be sure to budget and spend it wisely. But most of all, HAVE FUN!!!

That's why it's called "work". I've had some cruddy jobs too, but just remember that you've gotta start somewhere!

I did but my mom thinks its important for us to go and I agree even though I donnt like it and you just have to do things you don't like but think are right sometimes.

Why are you homeschooled? Have you been home schooled all your life or did something happen that your parents wanted to homeschool the 2 of you? See I was just the opposite for church. I hated sitting in church. I loved Sunday school. I was confirmed when I was 12 and I became, omg for the life of me I can't remember what they are called now, but anyway it was kind of like an alter person. I carried the cross down the isle and helped with communion and stuff like that. Then I got sick of that. I thought it was boring because I had to sit there during the whole service, so I became a Sunday school teacher. Imagine being a Sunday school teacher at the age of 13. I tough 3-4 yr olds. They were so cute. I did that for many, many yrs. up until I moved out here to Phoneix 5 yrs ago. I would like to get back into it, but we need to find a church. I haven't even gone to church since we moved out here. My mom yells at me all the time for it. She'd be like" I raised you to be a good christian and go to church" blah,blah blah. Just because I don't go to Gods house doesn't mean I don't believe in him and pray and talk to him on my own time in my own home. You don't have to go to church to pray.


Anyway, enough of that. It's nice that you are getting an allowance. Have you thought about finding a babysitting job? I started doing that when I was 12 and I made good money doing it and I would save until I knew I wanted something and used that money to buy it. Natalie

 

I'm homeschooled because I want to be...... I was for k-6th public 7th homeschool 8th public now 9th homeschooled, and my sister is just homeschooled because she likes it I geuss and shes been k-4 public 5th homeschooled then finish public the 6th public then 7th homeschooled. . .. its been different.

I go to church every sunday and I have to go to sunday school and I have to finish confirmation with the 8th graders (I'm a 9th grader ) but I never finish confirmation because I moved so I have to finish it bcuz my mom wants me to, :-\ Miley

Nice I get $50 a month, but I really don't get to use them for my own use. Unlike u though, I'm getting rid of my tanks these days. I have too many, lol.
