10 Gallon Stocking

I currently have 6 neon tetra and I would like to have a centerpiece fish. The tank is planted and the tank is obviously 10 gallons. I would love some ideas?!

I don't think a 'center piece fish' would really thrive in a 10 gallon, even a dwarf gourami I think would feel cramped. You could try some cherry shrimp, they'd contrast really nicely with the plants and their bio-load is pretty minimal :)

Best centerpiece in a 10 gallon might be 1-2 colorful male guppies!

A shipment of Rotala is coming in and in my tank I already have some pearl weed. Also hoping to get a banana plant :) Could I actually have a trio of one male and 2 females?

The problem with having two females is every month they're going to be dropping fry so you'll soon be very overstocked, I'd stick to just males

Ok I figured the males was a better idea. Plus they are a bit more colorful :)
