Hello I am planning a 10 gallon shrimp tank for my girlfriend. She wants blue velvet shrimp (red cherry color morph) but she is interested to adding something else to give the tank some activity.

I know that Otos would do fine with the shrimp but don't add much activity and are limited in a 10 gallon. So I'm looking toward you guys for some suggestions on what can be added in a nicely planted 10 gallon shrimp tank.

You could add a mystery snail as well. They are so fascinating to watch and mine moves around constantly. Anytime I add new plants he will go right over and graze on them!

Wouldn't the Gupta and endlers eat the shrimp?

Guppies and endlers wouldn't eat adult shrimp.

I would add 8 CPD or maybe ember tetras.

    Otos wouldn't work in a 10.
I would do either 12 ember tetras or 12 CPDs
