10 Gallon Reef Tank - what all do I need?

Hi, I'm interested in doing a sw reef tank with my spare 10 gallon tank. Can anyone suggest everything I need to have? Planning on having corals and 2-3 fishes.

Not trying to put you off but 10 gallon will be a hard tank to maintain as a sw, also fish will be limited, levels are harder to keep steady than a fw tank so bigger is better. However I'm sure it's possible with a lot of time, sounds silly but on a tank that size I would be tempted to go filter less and run live rock live sand and a couple of pumps or small power heads for flow

If you're willing to be constantly stressing over the 10 gallon, you could put a clown fish in there. One guy on YouTube has a 10 gallon saltwater tank with some in it. He says it is very hard to maintain
Hi,
Smaller tanks are more difficult to keep stable.
For what you'll need, I suggest the free eBook that Lucy has linked to, and also have a look at the stickies in the Saltwater Beginner's forum.
Also, try a search of Fishlore for Saltwater Nano tanks to get an idea of what you're up for.

Thanks for the response guys. I was originally thinking of a nano reef with at most 2 fishes in it and a lot of hardy corals.
