10 gallon redesign (blog?)

This is a very similar stocking to my other 10s honestly (yes, with bettas). Personally I do not think it’s/they’re overcrowded at all. If it makes you feel any better, I could do the cpd first, and see how it goes, and if it goes well, then I’ll try the corys. If that doesn’t seem like it’ll work out, I have alternative tanks that would work for any of them
You don't need to go out of your way to do anything for me. I'm a random person on the internet So if you really want to go for it, I'll support you. All of what I said is my opinion based on my experience.

Ah, but you see, you are a random person on the Internet with experience! (As you mentioned) And I’m quite glad to hear from you about your concerns, just in this case I don’t entirely share those concerns. However, I will definitely take them into consideration, and I will go slowly as I outline before

Here’s where the tank is at right now - kinda ugly and messy but we’re working on it. I’ve got to wait until my next paycheck before I get the plans we discussed. I was thinking about grouping them in two areas for the most part - like the thick cluster in the area the two pink plants are in, and then towards the back to hide the heater and filter. The pink plants, betta leaf and large flat rock are temporary - but thoughts on the statue placement? The rocks? I was just messing around and thought they looked kinda interesting standing up. Should I leave the flat rock in there? I also put the unknown plants in there. Decided against the grass plant though and put that in another tank.

They’re kind of a hot mess right now because they are crooked (they were just floating in another tank for a while) And their roots wouldn’t cooperate and get down in the soil (I’ll work on it some more).

I also have been very slowly filling the tank with water because the shelf it’s on is new and I want to make sure it’s safe. I did move the betta leaf up after I took the pics so it was a proper height.

I was also contemplating moving my EBR in there eventually... I think he would appreciate a quieter tank than the one he’s in right now. I know it’s not ideal but like I said, he might be happier

Things have just kind of been chilling progress-wise on this tank. I went to my LFS the other day and saw that in one of their display tanks, they have a singular little CPD - it was adorable and I am super pumped to eventually get some of my own lol

I am putting in an order to a site for a plant for another tank, but I realized I would get a discount on shipping for spending a certain amount, so I added some Limnophilia indica and dwarf sag for this tank

The plants should arrive Friday - unfortunately I won’t be around to unpack them or start scapeing.

I also ordered some more frogbit to bolster my numbers since I have bad luck with it.

I also ordered some red and gold racer nerites for another tank. I may place one in this tank.

Also not sure I ever mentioned this, but I found a baby rabbit snail in the tank a while back. I moved the parent back into the tank too, because it didn’t seem happy in it’s new (larger) tank. Not sure I want them to stay there, but they’re happy for now

Lemy and George both seem very happy, and Lemy really enjoys swimming between the plants
