10 Gal Algae Eater?

Hi, I have a small 10 gal tank with a few female bettas and a few African dwarf frogs.
Can anyone recommend what I could add to help with the algae? I imagine a BN pleco needs a bigger tank, perhaps a snail? Any other ideas of a suitable algae eater?
Thanks!

For a tank that small, I'd recommend the good ole elbow grease algae eater

They might, but full-grown Amanos are pretty big, mine are bigger than my female betta.

Bettas won't eat the shrimp?

They might. Depends on the betta. I think a nerite would be the best option.

Just curious, do the bettas bother the ADFs at all? I've always assumed that they aren't great tank mates but I've never tried that combination before

Just as a heads up I would keep an eye on the frogs and betta. The frogs have really poor eye sight and many times will nip long tails, plus can be easily out competed for food. As for algae I would first focus on what is causing the algae and what type it is. This is a great place to start with:

A great algae eater is the nerite snail. If you get 5 or 6 they can easily clean algae in a 10 gallon tank. I have 5 of them with my adf's and it's a great combination.

Depending on what kind of algae it is even 1 - 2 nerites are enough. They don't work fast, but they are thorough cleaners.

They've been in there together for a few months and the bettas don't seem to pay any attention to them.

Cool, thanks. I've been interested in shrimp

Bettas won't eat shrimp if there's good hiding places for them.

Otto catfish is not a good choice. They need to be kept in groups, need more space and are very sensitive to water quality fluctuations that are common in a 10 gallon

Nerite snails are best but I love Amano shrimp and they are pretty fast and quite big so are usually fine with betta, just pick out some large looking ones at the store.

I'd go with nerites. Amanos do get pretty big (I have at least a couple bigger than my male betta) so I imagine it'd be fine with the bettas, but I'm not sure about ADFs since they have poor sight and would probably try to nip them up.

Nerites on the other hand are slow moving and look almost like rocks (no large antennae) so they'd more likely be left alone. In a 10 gallon 2 would be more than enough, even with a decent amount of algae.
