I am cycling a 8 gal tank with a betta fish.
Do you know approximately, how long it will take until the cycle is done?

Also, is there anything else I should do, other than feeding the fish, changing 2 gal water (with Prime) / week, and waiting?
I do have the API master kit to test the water. I test it once a week.
    I have just started.

    Thank you.

You might need to change water more often while doing a fish in cycle. Only testing your water will tell you for sure. If it were me, I would be testing ammonia and nitrites daily to make sure. The betta is a small bio-load, so what you are doing may be fine. Just test to be sure.

And cycling a tank, with a single betta, will usually take anywhere from 4-8 weeks.
