    wild guppys - rare?

Ive aquired these wild guppies. I haven't seen anything like it before and was wondering if they are rare and if I could make a bit of money from them. I have around 100 babies coming every fortnight from two mothers. The father has a triple sword tail and is extremely colourfull. This isn't a...

    Butterfly Fish

I don't know much about butterfly fish....but I wouldn't suggest putting them in a saltwater aquarium, it'll dehydrate them and they will die, because they are freshwater!!!! =p I'd stick with saltwater though because they are generaly more colourfull and exciting.

    pop eye?

It keeps going cloudy and then returning to a clear retina with a white dot in the centre. The fish still has all of its colours, so I know it isn't ill. I have antI bacterial solutions, so I'll try these. Is it pop-eye though? thanks.

    pop eye?

One of my Black Widow tetra has developed a white spot on its eye. The eye is also enlarged, but only within the retina... I really don't think this is pop-eye because it doesn't look like any of the pictures Ive seen of pop-eye. Can anyone help with this cheers

sword tail or platy or both?

I have what I thought was a swordtail. Its definitely male and its about an inch long. It has a really long top dorsal fin (about 3/4 the length of its body) but it doesn't show any signs of growing a sword. can you get long finned platys? I really hope its a sword tail but I'm not sure. Is...

    >>PLEASE HELP A FRUSTRATED BEGINNER!!<<

the cloudiness is either a dirty filter or one which doesn't have much bacteria in it. Its advisable to cycle before you get any fish but it can be done with them. Just don't expect them all to survive. The best thing you can do is 50% water changes for the next week and put in some commercialy...
