    75 gallon stocking question

But could it depend on the size of the severum when it is first introduced? The Angelfish could kill it when it is still a juvenile right? I just want to see if I am right in any way.

    75 gallon stocking question

So in my experience with Angelfish, they tend to be very aggressive to any new fish you add in the tank after they've grown into it. I would advise you to stick with the fish you have, no matter how many more fish you can fit in it(you could probably get away with adding more fish of the same...

My top fish choice: 8-10 marbled hatchet fish My middle fish choice: 3-5 angelfish(depends on the school size of hatchet fish) OR 8-10 Buenos Aires Tetras(super active, super cool, and look kinda like mini piranhas) My bottom fish choice: 12+ cory catfish(pick a species with a color that nicely...

My lake malawi build. Tell me what you think!!!

Woahhhh. I want to do something like this in the near future. That looks amazing. Just one question: Why do you have a current maker in there? Lake Malawi doesn't really experience currents, and you already have a canister filter in there(which should provide enough aquarium circulation). I...

    Peacock cichlids mixing

Hi everyone. I have a quick question that I could use a couple answers for. If I took different color variations of peacock cichlids and put them together, would it be bad? Or should I just stick to one species?

    American eel hunting

Was not expecting him to hunt in broad daylight. This was in the middle of the day. Normally he's in the sand most of the day, but today he decided he wanted a midnight snack:). American eels are basically blind, and they hunt by using smell and touch. I believe they sense vibrations in the...

    American eel not breathing properly

Hello everyone! My American Eel(Mixon), has been completely fine recently, and is doing great in his 29 gallon tank. I am a little bit concerned now though. He seems to be breathing out of only one gill a lot, and the other gill stays sealed shut. I'm not sure what is wrong with him, but he is...

    American eel(accident)

I haven't fed him yet, as it has only been less than a week, and he doesn't eat willingly atm. I am raising some white clouds right now in my axolotl tank, so they should suffice as a live food, but I might try to wean him to hikari carnivore pellets to make things easier.
