I got a second hand tank and you need to clean it very well. It took me a while to get all I the dried fish poop off of it

You will have almost no options with a 5 gallon tank other than a Betta or shrimp tank. You will have way more options with a 10 g tank

Once I was looking online and saw a home aquarium with a 9ft arapaima In it. I don't think fish that big should be kept in someone's house.
