    With traditional lights, people used to use a watts per gallon formula that worked pretty well. The wattage of LED lights is meaningless in that context. Because the type and brightness of LED's vary so much, you have to rely on spectrum and what is called PAR value. If you search this forum...

    You are definitely in the low spectrum. There isn't enough par getting down to the bottom on a tank that deep. LED is great for plants, but you have to have the right type and output. Wattage is meaningless on LED lights.

    Thank you! It's a 3.7 gallon tank. Petco brand. They aren't on the website. Pretty impressive built in sump filter. The substrate is ADA Aquasoil and pool filter sand. I replaced the light that came with it. It was good for display or very low light plants. I'm really happy how it turned out...
