Ok that makes sense and no I haven't looked very much at any Tanganyikans. What are some of the better options for my tank? Also I changed my mind a single or small group of fish that have great personalities would also work.
I would like to get some type of Cichlid for my 46 bowfront. The tank is 36'' long. Preferably I would like to have more than just a couple or trio of fish and for there to be plenty of activity in the tank. I am looking mainly for African Cichlids due to my water having a high PH of 8.2. Thanks
Ok so I like the different colours each Tetra has so what if I go like
6-7 of each Tetra
keep the two otos as they are already 2 years old and idk how much longer theyll last.
2-3 honey gouramis
would 6 Pandas be ok instead of pygmys beacuase they are way more common in the area I live
So that would be
8 Neon Tetras
8 Glowlight Tetra
3 Honey Gourami
8 Pygmy Cory
Im just cautious cause I asked a similar question earlier and the answer was totally different saying that 6 each minus the Gouramis was too much for a high
Ok that makes sense and I have plenty of extra filtrations for the 20g. So 8 each of the neons, glowlights, and otos along with the 3 snails and should i get the 2-3 honey gouramis or the 8-10 pygmy cories.
Would 6 Neon Tetras, 6 Glowlight Tetras, 6 Pygmy or Panda Cories, and 2 Otocinclus overstock a 20 g. Currently I have 3 Glowlight, 3 Neons and the 2 Otos. If it is overstocked then what should I not put in.
