Help! Something is giving my betta fin rot and i dont know what it is!

Crushed Coral adjusts pH by buffering your KH. This will raise your tank water's pH, but will not do anything to the acidifying effect of CO2. If you're seeing large swings from CO2 the problem is too much CO2. Adding Crushed Coral will raise your base pH but you will still have the problems...

Help! Something is giving my betta fin rot and i dont know what it is!

I've not been anywhere on the internet much recently. Working 6 days per week and this app still crashes like crazy on my phone. What jdhef said is true, but in this case I think the issue is way too much co2 injection. Are you running a drop counter? Ph is not linear, but exponential. 6 is 10x...

Auto Water Change System like this. Anyone tried it and a stupid question ?

Really sounds like you've already done more research into this than I. When I thought about it, I was going to just run a constant drip through a charcoal filter and have a secondary overflow on the sump. I dislike trusting electronics to do it for me.

Build one 460 litres (about 120 us gallons) or keep two 230 litres

4 would be my max, but I'm conservative on stocking. I won't fault you if you go to 6 with that big water volume. Just don't over-stock the second tank. Sent from my VS987 using Fish Lore Aquarium Fish Forum mobile app

Build one 460 litres (about 120 us gallons) or keep two 230 litres

You would have the water volume of two tanks, but you would be limited to just higher stocking of fish that are appropriate for one of those. Still have limited footprint. It's certainly an interesting build idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tmsHa5spqc That might be an idea as well if...

    Ph help

The best natural way to lower Ph is through filtration or mixing your tap with RO or bottled water. To do this safely and consistently, you need a gH & kH test, and I recommend a tds meter. Before modifying your water, take a cupful and set it on the counter tonight. If you have an air pump...

    75g Tank cycle?

I've been involved with far too many threads recently. What is your total stock now that everyone is identified? I think you are going to need to do some rehoming or you will lose fish in the not so distant future.

Is OK to add three Cory Cats with a male Betta?

You are not in any way overstocked. You have a nice, low-bioload tank. Good for ease of maintenance. The problem with stocking with bettas is their incompatible behavior.

Build one 460 litres (about 120 us gallons) or keep two 230 litres

A 460L tank would require a minimum of 9mm glass, 12mm would be better. I think one big tank is better than 2 small tanks if you can swing it.

Someone ate my Clown Loaches tail off!

Cherry barbs are fine. I mixed them up with Rosies. Rosy Barbs prefer cooler temps. Clown loaches can grow up to 16" in captivity. They usually don't because they are so often kept in inappropriate tanks. Even in smaller tanks like a 250g they regularly hit 12" Clown Loaches do prefer temps...

Is OK to add three Cory Cats with a male Betta?

Off the chart nitrites, fishless. Keep adding ammonia source?

If fish are in the tank, stopping feeding lowers ammonia output, not stops it. If you stop feeding your ammonia bacteria, they will die off. Many people report the nitrite step of the cycle being the longest. Keep them under 4ppm and soldier on. If you can, also test for phosphates. 0...

You don't always have to do a water change while fishless cycling. If your ammonia or nitrite gets too high, it can stall the cycle though. I would try to keep everything under 4ppm
