    is my tank big enough?

No, just for the arrowna you would need a minimum of 180 gallons. I would just leave the arrowna by itself in a 180+ tank, since it needs more live foods thean other fish do.

    Stocking Scheme

I have a 55 gallon tank with five platies and 10 tiger barbs, and I was wondering what would be good fish for the tank and how many. I was thinking cory cats, cardinal tetras, oto cats, or swordtails. Thanks for the help!

    Mystery snails

You probably could keep a mystery snail and a betta in a 1 gallon bowl, but if you could, I would try to get at least a 1.5 gallon bowl.

Glowlights Just Stay In The Corner Of The Tank!

Well first, you will need at least 3 more white clouds. As for the tetras, this could be a sign of disease. I would not add any more fish to the tank until the glowlight are properly diagnosed, and treated if nessecary. After the glowlights problems are finished, you should add the white clouds...

    Cat Fish???

Well first, bala sharks can get to 13 inches, and the tank you have is to small for them, so you should either return them to the store or give them to someone. Second, when you say a pack of tiger bars, how many would that be? And finally, electric yellows have different ph requirements than...

    Fish tank companions for Betta???

Hey Francine. Some fish you can put with bettas are platies and swordtails. The problem with this is that bettas prefer bloodworms at least 3 times a week, while platies and swordtails can not handle that much protien in a week. For stocking the 30 gallon, I would suggest buying this book...

    water change after cycle?

I have heard with the ammonia fishless cyclying, which is adding pure ammonia to the tank, when your finished, you should do a 30-50% water change. Isabella is right with the stocking, you want to stock gradually. You should also try to get some hardier fish, just in case a problem develops...

    Goldfish

A good rule for goldfish is, 15-20 gallons for the first goldfish, and then 10 more gallons for every othe goldfish. You have to understand though that goldfish are not as easy to take care of as they appear. Goldfish are very messy, and the overall gph (gallons per hour) of your filters should...
