Thank you! I don't remember the name of that plant unfortunately. Maybe someone else can identify it.

Can/should I Add More Tank Mates?

I think you might be thinking of Danio glofish. Tetra glofish and bosemani's prefer just about the same temp

Can/should I Add More Tank Mates?

Ok I can try the rummynose again. You don't think that's overstocking? You think 1 pleco would be better than a few catfish? Thanks

Thank you all for the compliments on the tank! Great looking tank Junne . Regarding the water changes, check out my last post about the fish dying after water changes. I use prime with every water change, I match up the temperature that's in the water, there is no ammonia in my tap water. I...

2 weeks with no water change and readings show 0 nitrates (0 ammonia and nitrite

Hi all, I posted a few weeks ago about how I believe the water changes that I'm doing are killing my fish. Since then I've been afraid to change the water, so I've left it as is and all fish seem to be doing much better. The weird thing is, using the API test kit, my readings are 0 ammonia, 0...

Fish keep dying after water changes

The Ph out of my tap is around 6.0 and rises to 7.4 after 24-48 hours in the tank. Could this be the issue? If so, how do I fix it? I have a 72g tank so can't let the water sit in a bucket for 48 hours before adding to tank. I already have crushed coral in my filters, which I thought was...

Fish keep dying after water changes

The tank is 72g, which I think would equal 272 liters? Do you think I'm putting too much prime in the tank?

Fish keep dying after water changes

Hi all, I've have a fully cycled tank for about 2 months now. I had 8 rainbow fish in the tank for a few weeks and they all seemed to be doing great up until 2 weeks ago. After I changed the water (30% water change) 2 of the rainbows died 2 days later. I did another water change 2 days ago and...

Put 12 rummynose tetras in cycled tank 2 days ago - 7 have already died

I appreciate you guys helping, it's just so difficult knowing what to do when I have two completely opposite opinions. Two more fish have died since I made the post. I suspect all will be dead by tomorrow. They seem fine one minute, then the next minute I see them furiously twirling then a few...

Put 12 rummynose tetras in cycled tank 2 days ago - 7 have already died

Still very confused with how to keep the Ph stable. My apologies for not understanding. The Ph in my tap water is 6.8. By putting that tap water in my tank with the crushed coral, it is raising to 7.6. Isn't this bad since it is not remaining stable? What do I need to do to keep the Ph at 6.8...
