Hi I'm from the uk and trying to decide which canister filter to go for?
Like the look of the Cascade 500 but can't get them here.
The nearest thing is the cascade 700 on offer for £40 but I can't tell if that will be too much for my 100litre tank?
oh good hopefully her fins will grow back just as pretty as they were before. I'm glad that someone I know is adopting the male, gives me peace of mind knowing he'll be looked after by an experienced fish keeper. The female one has always been quite placid and never agressive towards the other...
hi everyone, , I did discover the melafix before reading the last few posts and it worked a treat! thank you all for your help. My water is perfect now and I've found bogwood plants have really helped to settle the water too

Also I have lost a loach, he has completely disappeared. I...
Cant see that it would be a problem its quite hot in the UK at the moment so the water is reaching 28c already.
I will try these suggestions and i shall hopefully get somewhere. Be nice to finally give the tetras some foliage when they are better

I have tried an air stone before but I found that the extra oxgen caused a rapid growth in brown algae everywhere, it was a nightmare to clean.
I do however have a filter that moves the surface water well and it also sucks air in and pushes it into the...
