29 Gallon Tank Is this Ich, Columnaris,or other?

AggressiveAquatics did ich medication stain your tank when you used it? I don't know why some people have experience with it staining their silicone and others don't. Mine only stained the rubber suction cups on my breeder box that I didn't take out.

29 Gallon Tank Is this Ich, Columnaris,or other?

It's not only because it can potentially stain your silicone. When the ich releases off your fish it will live/multiple in the water column, on your substrate, and around your decor/plants. Quarantine tanks don't have substrate, plants, heavy decor, making water changes easier to remove...

EMERGENCY ( Loss of color, raised scales and bloating.)

Yeah, I can't really see any white specs from the picture. White spots like ich? Because none of those other symptoms are related to ich, so that would just be a lot of bad things at once haha.

EMERGENCY ( Loss of color, raised scales and bloating.)

Raised scales, bloating, less color, are all symptoms of dropsy. Is the fish breathing harder and not as active too? Weird though, because it doesn't look like you are feeding a lot and your parameters look fine.

29 Gallon Tank Is this Ich, Columnaris,or other?

Copper-based medicines at this stage would be like taking a sledgehammer to kill a fly. Very potent stuff and your scaleless fish might not react well to it. Do you have carbon in your tank? If so, remove that when you get medicine because the carbon will remove the medication. Not to mention...

29 Gallon Tank Is this Ich, Columnaris,or other?

That looks like ich from here. Nope, melafix will not treat ich. Melafix treats bacterial infections/helps prevent bacterial infections by speeding up the healing process; but without clean water it will be counterproductive. Melafix helps with damaged fins, cloudy eyes, and stuff like that...

How old would you guess at 2.5 inches?

It takes two years for BN plecos to reach full size. So definitely younger than that without question haha. Depends on sex, but I would say you just before or around the year-old mark. Again assuming he has been in a tank suited for him and his size wasn't stunted. Around 6 months the males...

Did my Apisto get bit on the mouth or does he have fungus?

I don't know if the lip is related, but seems like if he has problems staying afloat, there is a bloat/swim bladder issue now. Can you get a breeder box and put him in it? Also, lower the lights to not add stress. Depending on what is in your tank, his tank mates might start kicking him while...

    Possible HITH?

I have had a HITH scare once and one actual case of HITH. The scare looked a lot like this. Seems like he was just chasing someone and banged into something hard in the process. Just up your water changes to help it heal, remove ammonia, and give your tank time to establish. Might wanna add...

    Pet grocery store lobster

They wouldn't know, but the problem comes when owners release the pets into the wild, flush it down the toilet, or it gets eaten by some other native animal. The foreign animal is an invasive species that can destroy an ecosystem or carry a disease that native animals do not have immunity...
