    new cory mom, eating question

I've got 3 peppered cories (with a female betta, and they're getting along fine), who are sporadically active, and like to rest in weird ways, but that doesn't concern me (I've seen other posts by pepper parents that make this part seem normal). My main question/concern is how often they'll eat...

Why do I even go in there...? (PetCo)

The stores in my area rate, from highest to lowest: Petsmart (where I decided to purchase from) > PetCo > Pet Quarters > Walmart The Petsmart had the advantage of better prices (on equipment, not necessarily fish), cleaner setups, healthier-looking betta girls, and employees with a clue. *sigh of relief*

You all should know this feeling. I never feel quite right (i.e. stressed, obsessively nervous) until I see my new babies eat, and taste-testing daphnia doesn't count. Feeding a Piggie

    My Petco complaint

Wow...you've certainly got grounds for a lawsuit there, and so do many others. As for the response from Petco - keep that response, even print it out and save a copy, and send or bring it to that and every other Petco in your area. If they don't change, report it to all of your local news...

Taking over care of large community tank.

Again, it's not MY tank, so I don't have that much of a say in what goes in there. The woman who runs it wanted the chinese algae eaters because she doesn't like plecos, and they've been in there for a while, so returning them wouldn't really work. I can, however, explain that they'll do that...

Taking over care of large community tank.

It counts towards the animal husbandry volunteer experience I need for one class. Of course, if I'd known that SOONER, I'd have my volunteer hours done already! A 55-gallon tank that's been ignored for many months takes a LOT of time to clean up and get back on schedule! At least all the...
