My one angelfish has developed scabs on his body. I can't quite tell what they are from the picture or how to possibly treat him. He's still eating when its feeding time but won't go out of his way to eat when its not for a treat or something.
water condition tested with the master kit and is...
Picked up the 120 gallon version of Green Killing Machine yesterday and hooked it up. Not as much flow rate as i was expecting but i prefer this vs adding chemicals. The last koi angel is still eating and swimming around.
all the other fish are fine, they weren't at the top of the tank like the angels and they all survived. One angel left and his back fin is a bit shorter looks like its been nibbled at. He ate this morning though
I'm considering getting the 120 gallon version of the mean green. How long has...
My silver and black striped Angel has been in my tank since day one. This really sucks.
The only real change i made to the tank was adding a dalmation looking small/medium sized angel fish to the tank that died a few days later. Got it at petsmart, after that all my angels started dying one...
No upgrade anytime soon.
So, when i measured my tap water out of curiosity the ammonia measured .25ppm. PH was 6.4. Just the bigger angel fish are hanging around the top still. They are eating however i noticed all three of their dorsal fins are clamped. Also the ammonia in the tank is now 0ppm...
I vacuum the tank once a month give or take, water changes weekly. I just don't see why its only the angel fish at the top
3 Larger Angels
3 tiny ones
2 Glass catfish
1 polkadot loach
1 golden loach
2 small bala sharks
1 small rainbow shark
i'll pick some up tonight and see if that helps
Thanks for the welcome. The tank is around 1.5 years old now.
There seems to always be a slight amount of ammonia in the water after water changes. I'm assuming because the water is still dirty?? enough after the change to show on the test.
