This is a green Severum, it has some white stuff on the body. I have tried treating for fungus with no results. It looks like white spikes sticking out from the body.
Can someone tell me what it is and how to treat it?
Any help would be much appreciated.
I have never used, or rather fed, medicated foods. So you can tell me I don't know watt-da'-heck I'm talking about. My thinking is, if the fish is sick, it is most likely not eating.
A lot of the time, maybe not most of the time, but a lot of the time the first sign of sign of illness is the...
One of my Severums is bloated. I did a treatment with Levamisole HCl Powder, and scheduled the second treatment for three weeks later, which is this coming Thursday, August 8th.
But now I've noticed this guy is bloated. No he was not bloated when I did the first treatment. I did the treatment...
During the war of 1812, the ship Francis Scott Key was on, was detained from leaving the waters near Baltimore. Looking across the bay in the Baltimore harbor, he could see Fort McHenry in the distance. It was September 13, 1814. As the night fell and light waned, suddenly the smoke of cannons...

I'm in the market for a canister filter, but don't have a lot of money. So let me ask you guys and gals this question:
Which, in your personal experience, is the better one - Penn Plax Cascade, Rena, SunSun, or Jebao?
Step 1: Go buy a turkey
Step 2: Take a drink of whiskey
Step 3: Put turkey in the oven
Step 4: Take another 2 drinks of whiskey
Step 5: Set the degree at 375 ovens
Step 6: Take 3 more whiskeys of drink
Step 7: Turn oven the on
Step 8: Take 4 whisks of drinky
Step 9: Turk the bastey
When I was a young turkey, new to the coop,
My big brother Mike took me out on the stoop;
Then he sat me down, and he spoke real slow,
And he told me there was something that I had to know.
His look and his tone I will always remember,
When he told me of the horrors of ‘Black November’...
Is it absolutely necessary to provide hiding places or caves for Plecos if you don't intent to breed them?
I have two Zebra Plecos and one Yellow King Tiger Pleco that I hardly ever see. I'm thinking of removing the hiding places.
I have sucked up a bunch of red worms from the gravel of one of my 29 gal. tanks. They are actually living in the gravel. They don't seem to be doing any harm but I'd like to know what they are and how they got there.
They are one to three inches long. Bright red. They look like very thin...
Go to Lowe's and buy two 6 inch by 6 inch slate tiles. Have them cut them for you. One right in half, the other one in three long pieces, so you'll have three 2 inch by 6 inch pieces and two 3 inch by 6 inch pieces.
Get some aquarium safe 100% silicon. WalMart sells the GE brand (if GE, make...
I have a snail problem. These are Red Ramshorn Snails, and some Copper, they are beautiful, if it was just a few. But they are overtaking the tank.
This is what I would like to do, you guys give me some ideas and feedback.
I want to take all plants and decorations out and clean them off of...
Mods, please move this, if it doesn't belong here.
I bought a tank from Craigslist a few months ago and just today decided to set it up and start cycling it. Sure enough is leaking. The water is coming out from the top side of the bottom plastic frame, between the plastic frame and the glass...
I don't know if this is the right forum for this questions: Admin, Mods, please move it to the proper place if this is not the right one.
I was going to PM a couple of members with this questions, but decided other people might benefit from the info.
#1: Does anybody have the formula for...
I have water sprite. I keep them floating to provide hiding places for my Guppy fry and Platy fry.
The problem is they loose the roots eventually. I use Leaf Zone once a week, one capful for every ten gallons.
I'm I doing this right?
